Virtually every color can be created using a combination of colors in printing called C-M-Y-K.  C M Y K stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key.  The Key color is Black.   We’re often asked by those that notice, how does CMYK stand for Cyan Magenta Yellow and Black.  The simple answer is it doesn’t.   the K stands for the Key – which happens to be black.   The “K” in CMYK stands for key because in four-color printing, cyan, magenta, and yellow printing plates are carefully keyed, or aligned, with the key of the black key plate.  Some folks mistakenly believe that the “K” in CMYK comes from the last letter in “black” and was chosen because B already means blue.  It may sound rational, but in fact it’s wrong.   K is used as “Key”, which was possibly chosen because black is often used as outline.

Four color brochure printing makes the difference between ordinary brochure prints and a vibrant deeply evocative and colorful brochure. With the application of four color printing, your brochure has amazing and brilliant colors that grab your audience’s attention.  For maximum impact, and Return on your custom printing investment, it’s hard to beat 4 color printing.
